Recommended Hydraulic Requirements

For best performance, it is recommended that your tractor provide 12 GPM or more.
The more flow available, the better the cycle time. Tractors with lower flow may result in much slower operation.

  Self-contained hydraulic setup with tank and 21 GPM PTO pump. Designed for 540 RPM PTO operation.
  35 HP minimum tractor required.
• 4-Way Wedge
  Slips over the existing wedge to split logs into 4 pieces in one pass.
  Reduces opening size by 3 inches.
• Log Cradles
  Optional welded cradles help hold logs in place and reduce the need to support wood by hand.
• Larger Opening / Cylinder Options
  Standard unit uses a 5" x 24" cylinder. Optional 5" x 30" or 5" x 36" cylinder upgrades are available for larger opening sizes.
